What an incredible milestone — together, we’ve helped make history.
This past September, Weston Ford proudly joined Ford’s Global Food Drive, an international effort uniting dealerships to combat food insecurity and support families in need. The initial goal was ambitious — to collect 1 million pounds of food around the world — but the results were beyond anything anyone expected.
Thanks to the dedication and generosity of the Global Ford Network, Ford dealers collectively donated more than 2 million pounds of food, earning official recognition for the World’s Largest Auto Dealer Food Drive. Over 3,000 dealerships across 31 countries took part in this extraordinary achievement.
Here in Canada, nearly half of the Ford of Canada Dealer Network participated, contributing over 212,797 pounds of food nationwide — the third-highest total globally. Weston Ford is honoured to have been part of this record-breaking effort. At Weston Ford, our dealership contributed 180 pounds of food, helping support families across the Toronto area.
Supporting Families Close to Home
At Weston Ford, all donations collected were directed to the North York Harvest Food Bank, ensuring the food we gathered stayed within our local community. Every item donated — from canned vegetables to baby formula — helped put meals on tables and provided comfort to families facing difficult times.
This campaign was a reminder of how powerful local action can be when paired with a global mission. What started as a simple call to help became a movement that spanned continents — all driven by compassion and teamwork.
Gratitude to Our Community
We extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated, shared our message, and supported this initiative. Your generosity contributed to a global success story and made a meaningful impact right here in Toronto.
Together, we proved that when our community comes together, we can accomplish something truly remarkable.
At Weston Ford, we’re proud to say — we made a difference, and we helped make history.
